Kaleidescope
Yesterday, I went with Landen on his 2nd grade field trip, to Kaleidescope, at Crown Center. It was a good time. There were about 140 2nd graders, and probably 30 adults. I survived the bus ride...it was actually even semi-enjoyable!
It was right up Landen’s alley, since he loves drawing and crafts. Myself and another mom were in charge of the puzzle machine, which is a really fun time. UNTIL, the kid with 8 squares of “art” (read, scribbles) comes through and wants to make them all into puzzles. I let it slide the first time. But the second time? Seriously! Go paint with some melted crayons or something, kid! :)
At any rate, it was a fun time.

Halloween night
Ahhhh, Halloween...probably one of our family faves as far as holidays go. We don't celebrate ghosts and goblins and witches...we just like to dress up our kids in something cute and fun, and spend time with family and friends. This year, we went with a cowboy theme. I didn't get a good picture of all FOUR of my cow-people, but you can look at my previous blog update to get a look at the cow-daddy.
The kids were waiting for the parade to start. Doesn't every cowgirl pass a little time, playing a harmonica?
I got several of Lawson...just because his little expressions were priceless.
