Happy 1st day of spring!

Really? Snow? Is it really true? How crazy is that??

Every guy's dream

To sit around in his Bob the Builder's, complete with matching hat. Touchdown?
Cheerleading move, or staying alive move?

And what we ALL wish we could do!

Hangin' at the bus stop

A picture is worth a thousand words, right? I'll just let these pictures tell the story.

Crown Center

LOVE the water fountains...we may have had to tear Landen away from the urge to run through the water fountains. We'll definitely have to make a trip this summer...the kids will LOVE it.

Here's the posed picture...aren't they cute?

Here are the silly pictures...still cute, just silly.

What a beautiful day it was.

Bye Bye Blackjack & Snowflake

Great picture huh? I know, I know...but their new owners didn't appear to be in the picture taking mood, so I had to get it quick. Yes, Blackjack and Snowflake have a new home...together. They appeared to be pretty good buddies. As much as I wanted to see the Hay cat family reduced, and I didn't really care how (well, you know, short of any intentional kitty injury or anything like that!), I am glad they went together. I've been told, Abby and Blackie are already searching for their longlost sibs. Good news for them...momma kitty is cooking up some new sibs for them. FABULOUS. Anyone reading this, do me a favor...when momma kitty is post partum, ask me EVERY.TIME.YOU.SEE.ME if we've made the snip and clip appointment yet. K? Thankyouverymuch. :)

Aaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh, summer!

Er, I mean, spring...wait, wait, wait...winter??? It has been getting progressively more beautiful outside, and we are progressively loving it more and more! Today, they made a "cottage", and even had a cottage cat. Let me tell you, the cottage cat was thrilled.
I guess Lawson knew it was still winter, with his snow boots and all...regardless of the beautiful sunshine.
A little action shot...he's such a funny soul.
This is Landen's contribution to the cottage. We may have reviewed how he was going to put every lick of the wagon load back in it's appropriate, given spot in the garage.
Every.last.bit.of.it. Crazilly enough, I think he did a pretty good job, only having to be told...get this...ONE TIME!
There are the cottage cats.I don't think they wanted to be a part of the cottage. :)

Just ONE MORE Dr. Seuss post

It's been a fun couple weeks...maybe a tad stressful. It's hard to be creative with all these things, especially when you know Jane Doe around the corner will dress her kids up in some fantabulous get up. ;)

So, we have Mrs. McCave. She was mom to 23 boys, who she named Dave. Almost as silly as naming all four of your kids with names, all starting with the letter "L". :) At any rate, we had fun with it. And can I just say, thank goodness for friends to borrow things like robes from. And THANK GOODNESS for creative friends! You know who you are, and you are so appreciated! :)

We were also going to have a certain 2nd grade boy, named Landen, dress up as Cat in the Hat, but he came down with strep. :(
