Lily and her teacher Mrs. Cash...Landen had Mrs. Cash as Miss Haley until spring break when she got married. We are excited about having another one of our kidlets in her kindergarten class.
Landen and his teacher Mrs. Boehm...we are so excited about the prospect of 2nd grade and all the exciting things that are in store. We also know Mrs. Boehm pretty well, and are sure that Landen will have a great year in her classroom. He actually knows 10 kids in his room, which is almost half.
The kids stood by some wizardy lookin' fella'. I thought it was funny how it looked like the wizard was going to whap Landen on top of the head. :)
Lily is longingly looking at the "big kids" playground where she will spend many-a-recess. When she was in preschool, they played on a much smaller scale playground that was soft. Lily has a way of falling a lot...not sure if she and the big kids playground will mesh or not.
My little Linus...don't know if you can tell, but his shirt is Linus' body, from Peanuts. I couldn't ever get him to stand still long enough to get a great picture. He was in his element tonight.
So, now everybody is off to nighty-night and tomorrow starts the 2009-10 school year. As of tomorrow, I will have a kindergartner and a 2nd grader. Seriously, don't blink.
