A little "first"

Lawson went to see his first movie, at the big screen, with our family, yesterday. He did see a movie with his daycare last summer, but this was the first "Hay family" movie outing, including Lawson. We met Aunt Sandy and cousins, Lindsay and Brianna, there. Lawson said days before, that he wanted to sit by Lindsay, and that he did. She said he shoved M&Ms at her faster than she could eat them. :)

We saw "Alvin and the Chipmunks, the Squeakquel". It was pretty funny and entertaining, I thought. Lawson did meander around our row a bit...spent a little time on my lap, then on Jimmy's, then in the same seat as Landen, then some time in Brianna's seat...but, for the most part, for a two year old, I thought he did pretty well. No screaming, crying, begging, whining...really, not much talking at all. SUCCESS, in my book! In fact, we had so much fun, we're going to try it again tomorrow, and go see "The Princess and the Frog" with our three friends, Sydnie, Allie, and Kinzie.

Since it was dark, pictures weren't much of an option, so I snapped a couple shots of his sweet cheeks today.
